  Burnouts / Recreational Launches

We have Video and Stills to share of Pontiac's "launching". First up, the Videos. We strongly suggest that, if you decide to "launch" for maximum tire smoke, that you do it in a safe controlled area. It is fun to do and a blast to watch. Just remember safety must be the first priority!

The above photograph is of Cruisin' Tiger member Don Micetic and his '66 blowing away the competition at a burnout contest held at Route 66 Raceway - Joliet, IL.  The video of this event is incredible!  You can clearly hear the announcer say "holy cow, John Force could not beat that burnout."  This '66 GTO is not raced but it sure can make smoke. This GTO also took Best Of Show at the 2000 Woodward Dream Cruise!

Scroll down to view some additional shots of this beautiful '66, and several other GTO's doing recreational launches.
