The Cruisin' Tigers GTO Club meets the 3rd Saturday of every month (except December & January) at 4:00 pm sharp at the below location. Members are encouraged to attend and interested visitors are always welcome!

Location is North of the Northwest Toll Road (I-90) on Elmhurst Road just North of Algonquin Road (Route 62) on the West side of Elmhurst Road. Nice weather? Expect to see GTO's in the parking lot!

July Meeting Recap: This was, once again, a very well attended meeting. We welcomed first time attending member Norm Johnson and we again discussed our Membership Drive program. Reports given included: Treasurer, Secretary, Editor, Membership Chairperson and Show Chairperson. In addition, we discussed The GTO and POCI Nationals (click here to view coverage). The annual election process also opened this month with 1st VP Bill Nawrot and Secretary Sylvia Heidlauf announcing they did not intend to seek reelection to their respective positions. The two Board of Directors up for election both indicated they would again run; they are Doug Rudisuhle and Paul Weinstein . The nomination process will continue in August and September. The meeting theme was Pontiac Tech and in particular we encourage members to bring for viewing original Pontiac service / parts manuals in their collection. Of particular note were several examples Bill Nawrot presented and a 1966 LeMans Air Conditioning Manual I brought. Ken Smith had a very interesting tech experience with a local Firestone Service Store he related in detail (members, read all about it in the July issue of Tiger News). The end of meeting drawing results are: ► A 2009 Uprising Show shirt was won by Bob Studt . ► A 2010 Uprising Show shirt was won by Pete Pulizze . ► The $117.50 50/50 drawing was won by: Bob Zeiger . ► The "you must attend to win" jackpot name drawn was: Ed & Reberta Dreksler . At the time of this drawing the jackpot contained $817.00 and, unfortunately, the Dreksler's were not at this meeting. These funds then roll over into the next months drawing. At the August meeting, before 50/50 sales, the jackpot will stand at $817.00. In all probability it will exceed $900.00 at the time of the end of our August meeting drawing.

You Can't Win If You Don't Attend!
At our monthly club meetings, the name of 1 member will be drawn. This member will win the money in a fund we have established for this purpose, if they are at that meeting. If they are not at the meeting, their name is returned to the drawing box and the fund rolls over.
Each fund cycle begins at $50 which is placed in the fund from the club treasury. At each meeting, the amount of money in the fund is increased by the sale of 50/50 drawing tickets. The fund continues to increase in value until it is won. The cycle then begins again.

These rules have existed, and been posted here, since day one. Take note, the last thing we want is a misunderstanding and/or hurt feelings. If you do not know who officers, board members and staff are, click each position highlighted above in blue to see a listing.
